Skills given
where they're needed.
We believe small businesses and non-profits deserve the same quality of digital work as the companies that can afford it. Each year, we donate websites, branding, and technical support to community organizations across BC, Alberta, and Yukon.
Why we do this.
North Star IT was built on the idea that great technology should be accessible — not just to enterprises with deep budgets, but to the people running food banks, search-and-rescue teams, youth programs, and community halls.
Every year we set aside a portion of our capacity for pro-bono work: full website builds, hosting, brand identity, and ongoing technical support, free of charge for organizations whose mission resonates with ours.
Full builds, not favours.
The non-profits we work with get the same process, design quality, and technology stack as our paying clients. No corner-cutting.
Long-term support.
We don't disappear after launch. Hosting, security updates, and small content changes are included indefinitely.
Local first.
Priority goes to organizations serving communities in BC, Alberta, and Yukon — places we live and work.
