Structured cabling for offices, warehouses, and commercial sites across Northern BC and Western Canada.

We project-manage structured cabling for offices, warehouses, and multi-tenant. Cat6A or fiber, plenum-rated, properly labeled, certified, and documented. Subcontracted to licensed installers we've worked with for years.

A cabling job done right is invisible. The right cable in the right pathway, terminated cleanly, certified at install, and documented so your IT team knows what is what five years from now. A job done wrong shows up as intermittent drops, failed certifications, and a bundle of unlabelled cables in the comms room that nobody wants to touch.

North Star project-manages structured cabling for offices, warehouses, industrial facilities, and multi-tenant buildings across Northern BC, Alberta, and Yukon. We work with licensed installers we have used for years, and we stay on site to co-ordinate and verify.

Cat6A, The current standard for office network runs. Supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet, properly terminated, shielded where required, and certified at install. Future-proof for the next decade of switching and wireless equipment.

Fibre optic, Single-mode and multimode fibre for backbone connections, risers, and high-bandwidth runs. OTDR-certified. Specified for the application, we do not default to fibre where Cat6A does the job, and we do not default to copper where fibre is the right answer.

Certification and testing, Every run is Fluke-certified. Test reports are delivered with the as-built documentation, so you have proof that the cable works before the installer leaves the site.

Labelling and documentation, Patch panel, jack, and port labels applied at install. As-built drawings delivered in a format your IT team can use. If someone needs to trace a cable two years from now, the documentation tells them exactly where it goes.

Low-voltage, Access control conduit and rough-in, CCTV cabling, intercom wiring, and TV/display runs. Scoped alongside data cabling where projects overlap.

Site walk, We visit the site, plan the runs and pathways, identify termination points, and produce a documented bill of materials. No surprises in the quote.

Pull and terminate, Licensed installers pull, terminate, and label. We co-ordinate on site, verify work against the scope, and flag any field conditions that affect the plan.

Certification, Every run is tested with a Fluke certification tool. Reports generated and reviewed before sign-off.

Handoff, Documentation package delivered: as-built drawings, certification reports, label maps, and warranty terms. The project is not complete until the paperwork is done.

We manage cabling projects across Prince George and Northern BC, with regular project work in Alberta and Yukon. For larger commercial projects, we can coordinate across multiple sites with a single project manager.

Why should I choose structured cabling for my Victoria office?

How long does a typical office cabling project take?

The timeline for a cabling project depends on the size of your facility and the complexity of the network. A small office upgrade might take a single day, while a full scale infrastructure project for a mid-market firm could take longer. We work to minimise disruption to your operations, often scheduling work during off-peak hours to ensure your Victoria business remains functional throughout the installation.

We use advanced diagnostic tools to verify that every drop meets industry standards for speed and signal integrity. This certification process ensures that your infrastructure wiring is free from defects and ready to support 10Gbps speeds or higher, providing you with a reliable foundation for your IT operations.
