Shopify built
to actually sell.

Theme work, custom app development, POS integration, inventory sync, and headless storefronts. We run our own Shopify stores. We know which apps are worth installing and which ones are landmines.

What's included

Everything you need, none of the upsell.

Real deliverables, with the boundaries written down. So you know what you're paying for and what counts as extra.

Store Build

Theme-based or custom.

Most clients are better served by a well-customized Dawn theme than a $5,000 custom theme. We tell you which one applies.

Custom Apps

Where Shopify ends.

Private apps for inventory rules, custom checkout flows, vendor portals, and integrations. Built on Shopify CLI and shipped to your store.

POS

Multi-location retail.

Shopify POS setup, inventory unification, staff permissions, and cash management. Hardware sourced and configured.

Headless

When you outgrow the theme.

Hydrogen or custom frontends on Storefront API. We've built these for clients running 7-figure stores.

How it works

The order we work in.

A clear sequence so you can budget time, money, and risk against the work.

Step 01

Discovery.

Catalog, fulfillment, payments, taxes, shipping zones. Documented before any code or design starts.

Step 02

Design.

Theme customization or full design. Mobile-first because that's where most carts happen.

Step 03

Build.

Theme, apps, integrations, and test data. Staged for review before any DNS cutover.

Step 04

Launch.

Cutover plan, redirect map, analytics validation. Two weeks of priority support post-launch.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is Shopify the right platform for a Canadian business?

For most, yes. It is Canadian, it handles tax and shipping for Canadian sellers sensibly, and it removes hosting, patching and PCI scope from your responsibilities. The alternative worth considering is WooCommerce, and we have written a comparison.

What does a Shopify build actually cost to run?

The subscription, card processing, plus apps, which is the line people underestimate. A store with subscriptions, advanced shipping rules and a review platform can add materially to the monthly cost. We scope the app list at the start rather than discovering it later.

Can you migrate an existing store?

Yes, including products, customers, order history and URL structure. The redirects matter most: an ecommerce migration that drops its old URLs loses the search rankings those product pages had, and that is difficult to recover.

Do you build custom themes or use existing ones?

Usually we start from a well-built theme and customise, because a fully custom theme costs considerably more and needs maintaining through Shopify's platform updates. Fully custom makes sense when the merchandising genuinely cannot be expressed otherwise.
