The vehicle as
a real office.

Field staff running a laptop on a hotspot with nowhere to mount anything are not productive. We design and specify mobile office builds for vehicles that need reliable connectivity, secure device mounts, and a power setup that doesn't drain the battery.

What's included

Everything you need, none of the upsell.

Real deliverables, with the boundaries written down. So you know what you're paying for and what counts as extra.

Connectivity

Starlink or LTE, properly mounted.

Fixed Starlink antenna or multi-carrier LTE router specified and mounted with cabling routed cleanly. Not a phone in a cup holder.

Power

Shore and battery designed together.

Battery bank, inverter, and charging system sized for your actual load. Run full-day on battery or plug in at site: both planned for.

Device Mounting

Screen, keyboard, and peripherals.

Laptop or tablet mount, external display if needed, and keyboard at a usable height. Secure when driving, accessible when working.

Security

Locked and tracked.

Cable locks and vehicle-integrated mounts for devices. Asset tags applied. GPS tracking integrated with your telematics if applicable.

How it works

The order we work in.

A clear sequence so you can budget time, money, and risk against the work.

Step 01

Workflow Review.

How the vehicle is used, what tasks are done in it, and what equipment is required. Duration per session and power budget estimated.

Step 02

Design.

Connectivity, power, and mounting plan drawn. Components specified with load calculations.

Step 03

Spec.

Part numbers, suppliers, and installation notes produced. Wiring diagram included for the installer.

Step 04

Install Support.

Optional: we attend the install to ensure the design is followed and test connectivity on completion.

FAQ

Common questions.

What makes a vehicle a mobile office rather than a van with a laptop in it?

Power that does not depend on the engine running, connectivity that works where the job is, a surface to work on that is usable, and storage that keeps equipment secure and undamaged. Most builds fail on power first.

How do you get connectivity outside coverage?

Starlink for anywhere with sky visibility, cellular with an external antenna where there is marginal signal, and a router that fails over between them. The antenna is what turns a dead zone into one bar, and it is the cheapest part of the solution.

Will the electrical work void a vehicle warranty?

Not if it is done properly and not tied into circuits the manufacturer reserves. Auxiliary systems on their own battery with correct fusing and isolation are standard practice. Splicing into factory wiring is what causes warranty arguments.

Can this be retrofitted to vehicles we already own?

Usually. The constraints are the roof for antenna and panel mounting, and available space for battery and equipment. Older vehicles with limited alternator capacity may need a different charging approach, which is worth establishing before ordering equipment.
