A website clients trust before the first call.
We design and build websites for law firms, accounting practices, clinics, and consultancies across Canada. Credibility first, plain language throughout, and intake that actually gets answered. You get a scoped fixed-fee build that your firm owns outright, with published care plans and no lock-in.
Firms where trust is the product.
Nobody hires a lawyer, an accountant, or a clinician on impulse. Your website is checked before the first phone call, usually late at night, usually after a referral. Its job is to confirm that the recommendation was sound.
Law firms and sole practitioners.
Practice area pages a non-lawyer can follow, lawyer bios with credentials and calls to the bar, and an intake path that respects confidentiality from the very first message.
Accounting and bookkeeping practices.
Clear service pages for compilations, tax, and advisory work, designations displayed properly, and a site that stays useful outside of tax season instead of going quiet.
Clinics and health practices.
Practitioner profiles, services explained without jargon, direct booking links, and careful handling of anything a patient types into a form.
Consultants and advisory firms.
A focused site that states who you help, what engagements look like, and what you have actually done, without slipping into vague thought-leadership filler.
Quiet professionalism beats agency flash.
Most agency websites for professional firms are built to impress other designers. Animations everywhere, stock photos of handshakes, and copy that says a great deal without saying anything. A prospective client scanning three firms at 10 pm does not want a show. They want to know who you are, what you do, what it is like to work with you, and how to start.
So we put the substance up front. Real bios with real credentials: designations, bar admissions, years in practice, the professional bodies you belong to. Service pages written in plain language, one page per service, each one answering the questions people actually bring to a first consultation. Fees explained as clearly as your regulator allows. Photography of your actual people and premises where possible, because clients notice the difference.
The design itself stays quiet on purpose. Clean typography, fast pages, no gimmicks. When the content is credible, the design's job is to stay out of its way.
Enquiries that reach a human and get answered.
The most expensive website problem in professional services is invisible: the enquiry that never gets a reply. We design intake as a workflow, not just a form.
Short forms, routed properly.
We ask only what you need to triage the matter, then deliver the submission to the right inbox with a notification you will actually see. Every form is tested end to end before launch.
Booking links that fill your calendar.
If you offer consultations, we wire in the booking tool you already use so a visitor can pick a time at midnight without waiting for office hours.
Clear next steps on every page.
What happens after someone reaches out, how quickly you respond, and what to prepare for a first meeting. Stated plainly, so nobody is left guessing.
Built like personal information matters, because it does.
Professional firms handle sensitive information from the very first contact, and Canadian privacy law treats it that way. PIPEDA applies to most private practices, and provincial rules add their own requirements, particularly for health information. Many website builders never think about any of this. We do, because security and compliance are our day job on the managed IT side.
Practically, that means we can host your site in Canada and keep form data on Canadian infrastructure when residency matters to your firm. We document exactly where every form submission travels and ends up, so you can answer that question with confidence instead of a shrug. Analytics run on a consent basis, the privacy policy reflects what the site really does, and forms collect the minimum needed to respond. We do not give legal advice, and we say so plainly, but we build sites your own counsel can review without wincing.
Answer the questions before the consultation.
The best professional services websites do some of the firm's explaining for it. What does a first meeting cost? How long does a matter like mine usually take? What documents should I bring? Do you act for people in my situation? Every one of those answers on your site is a question your staff do not have to field by phone, and a signal to search engines that your pages deserve to rank for the searches your future clients are typing.
We plan that content with you during discovery, write or edit it in plain language, and structure it so each service page can stand on its own in search results. If your team wants to publish articles afterwards, the site ships with a CMS you can use without calling a developer, and training to go with it.
A fixed-fee build you own, and care plans with published prices.
The build is quoted as a scoped fixed fee up front, sized to your pages, content, and intake tooling. When it launches, the site is yours: domain, design, content, and code. See our guide to what small business websites cost in Canada for how we scope. Ongoing care is optional and priced in the open.

Not sure which tier fits? Our plain-language guide to website care plans explains what each layer of maintenance actually buys you, and why unmaintained sites drift into trouble.
The same team can run your IT and security.
North Star is a managed IT and cybersecurity firm that also builds excellent websites, not the other way around. That matters for a professional practice, because the website is only one place client information lives. Email, file storage, practice management software, and backups all carry the same obligations.
Many of our web clients start with a site and later move their IT and security to us as well, so one accountable team covers the whole surface. If you run a legal practice, our managed IT for law firms page covers how we support firms specifically. And if you landed here but actually run a trades or construction business, we built a page for you too: websites for trades.
Common questions from professional firms.
How much does a website for a law firm, accounting practice, or clinic cost?
Every build is quoted as a scoped fixed fee before work starts, based on the number of pages, the content we are writing or migrating, and any booking or intake tooling you need. There are no hourly surprises. Our guide to small business website costs in Canada explains how we scope, and the exact figure is confirmed in a written proposal before you commit to anything.
Where does the information clients submit through our forms actually go?
We map that out with you during the build. Form submissions can be delivered to your email, stored in a system you control, or both, and we document where every field ends up. For firms that want data kept in Canada, we can host the site and route form data through Canadian infrastructure.
Can you help us stay onside with PIPEDA and provincial privacy rules?
We build with privacy in mind: a clear privacy policy, consent-based analytics, minimal data collection on forms, and documentation of where personal information lives. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice, but we make it straightforward for your own counsel or compliance checklist to verify how the site handles personal information.
Do we own the website when it is finished?
Yes. You own the domain, the design, the content, and the code. The build is a one-time fixed fee, and the ongoing care plan is optional. If you ever move on, you take the whole site with you and we help with the handover.
What do the care plans cover, and what do they cost?
Care plans are published at $149, $349, and $649 per month, covering software updates, security patching, backups, uptime monitoring, and content changes depending on the tier. Firms that sign before September 1, 2026 lock in founding rates of $127, $297, and $552. Our care plans guide explains exactly what each tier includes.
Do you only work with firms in British Columbia?
No. Builds are delivered remotely to firms anywhere in Canada. Discovery, design reviews, and training all happen over video calls, and launch is coordinated with whoever manages your domain and email, wherever you are.
